Each curl is one rep and ten repetitions comprise a single set. Doing three to five sets is enough for this particular workout regimen. Slowly perform each curl so that you are hitting your arms muscles properly. Take note that proper execution of this exercise routine is important for getting the results that are aiming for quickly.
How to tone your arms without dumbbells
Stand and keep your feet shoulder-width apart. Step one foot forward and slightly bend at your knees. This is actually a boxer stance. Execute punching movements with your left and right fists alternately. It is your decision which arm you are going to use for the punching movement first. Punch the air in front of you as if there’s an invisible punching bag present!Pretend that there is a punching bag in front of you and punch it intensely. Do 20 punches for good measure and make sure that each punch is intense. It would be great if you maintain your arms at shoulder level every time you do the punch. After punching the air in front of you, do the same thing with the air above your head. Extend your arms at full length in every punch and feel the muscles in your arm stretch while doing the punching.
To create one powerful set, complete at least 20 punches in front and 20 punches above the head. Do three sets per session and you’re good to go. Once you get the hang of it, you can increase to five sets.
One of your greatest fears when it comes to learning how to get rid of flabby arms, is when you might be toning so hard that you are actually building muscles on your arms. A woman like you would not want that to happen to your arms. To avoid building unnecessary bulk, keep your weights to at most 5 pounds. Doing so will make sure that you are not building bulk and you are just trimming down your arms for them to be firm and tight.
