Cut The Amount Of Weight You Employ In Half

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Focus on the correct foods, nutrient rich. We’ve all seen the fad diet books and plans out there that promise all sorts of fabulous weight loss with very little try. What we typically find out 7 Secrets Of Permanent Fat Loss And Fitness though, after going on one of these diets, is that they’re unusual. They call for you follow a very unusual way of eating compared to what common sense and Mother Nature would tell you.

The big lose belly fat underground I’ve found is that combining high intensity cardio with high intensity strength training into one workout is the absolute fastest way to loosing fat, building muscle, strength and endurance…all at the same time. It awakens and unlocks the fat burning furnace within of your body 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

It must be performed correctly however, not like you know the typical person using weight exercise…but when performed correctly as I teach readers of my Fat Burning Furnace eBook, this type of exercise will outperform no matter which else I’ve seen, and will only take an average of 20 minutes per session, and only needs to be performed two times or three times per week.

Perhaps the best part is, as you progress, you’ll have to perform even less train…that’s right, even less exercise (this is an amazing but true fact of how the body’s ability to tolerate intense exercise actually reduce the stronger and leaner you get.)

To experience the benefits for yourself, let’s take the Squat exercise as an instance. The Squat is one of the top 2 exercises for burning fat and building a strong and shapely body. But sadly most people spend too much time with the train but not nearly enough intensity. Here’s how to change that lose belly fat:

Instead of performing a set or two of warm ups followed by 3-5 “work sets” as
the majority people would do, try this. Cut the amount of weight you use in half. SLOW the movement down to about 5-10 seconds per repetition (focus on a slow lifting, pausing at the top, and a slower lowering of the weight), right from the very first one. Keep doing this until you cannot complete another reiteration in at this speed despite your greatest, and I mean greatest effort.

Now, 99% of people working out today have never skilled what you will experience after performing only 1 set of the Squat exercise in this fashion. If you did this correct, your heart will be racing…your lungs gasping for air…your thighs, butt, hips, and calves will feel like jello. And it might be took you just about 60 seconds to rouse your body this way.

You can even try this without any equipment and just do a bodyweight Squat.

You’ll feel like to slow this down even further, depending on your strength level in the movement, but you’ll still feel the amazing difference.

This is a window into the variety of exercise that I and my students have been using to simultaneously burn stubborn body fat, build strong sexy muscle, strength, and ortitude, all in just minutes per week. And it can keep the fat off permanently. Compared to what’s typically recommended these days, it’s approximately magical.

Finding The Ideal Weight Loss Program To Help Lose Weight

Friday, February 27th, 2009

Following a diet is like living death, not to mention that most of the weight loss programs out there won’t help you lose weight. your “diet” needs to be a lifestyle change, not something you do now and them to lose weight. It is okay if you choose to follow a healthy diet plan, but if you are like most people, you will go after the fast weight loss solutions, which most of the fad diets seem to offer, regardless of weight loss products!

In this article I will tell you how fad diets can not only kill your weight loss dreams but also your body!

1. Diet plays with your health: Many of the fad diets influence your health in a big way, so much so that you really wished you hadn’t followed this weight loss method! Diets usually restrict your food intake to the bare minimum, and some of them even make you starve for extended periods of time.

Believe it or not, many of the maladies out there, such as arrhythmia of the heart, osteoporosis of the bones, muscle injuries etc., are direct results of malnutrition. If ignored for a long time, malnutrition can also result in sudden death! I think you are better off being overweight than following any fad diet plan. If at all you want to lose weight, you should focus on eating and being healthy!

2. Diets make you suffer from loss of energy: Food is the main source of your body’s energy, and unless you have enough energy, you won’t be able to perform your daily activities. By limiting your food intake, diets are actually limiting your calorie consumption. Since calories are used by your body to produce energy, the fewer calories you consume, the less energy you will have.

This doesn’t however mean that you should consume excessive calories, but at the same time you should make sure that you are eating enough. When you don’t eat enough, you suffer from fatigue, loss of energy, mood swings, weakness, etc. Life becomes bitter and unpleasant to you!

3. Bad food habits are the direct results of dieting: In normal circumstances, your body tells you when it is time to eat. However, when you diet, your entire internal system is disrupted, so much so that you feel hungry at odd times when you are not supposed to eat. When you diet, you will try to sneak into your kitchen or take a peek at your refrigerator late at night to see if there is something that you can fill up your stomach with! The reason behind this is not hard to guess. Most of the diets perpetually keep you in a hungry state so it is natural for you to think about food at all times. Overeating and binge eating are direct results of dieting. Almost everyone who has followed a fad diet has ‘cheated’ on his diet at least once!

To get rid of hunger, you will probably try some form of diet pills or appetite suppressants. These pills just fool your brain to believe that you are full even when you are not! Naturally, your brain gets confused and sends wrong signals, so that you are unable to know when you are hungry and when you aren’t!

If you want to lose weight healthily, stop dieting and focus on healthy eating instead! Read more weight loss articles here.

The Hidden Mind For Dropping Your Body Fat

Friday, February 27th, 2009

What you think about repetitively every day is eventually accepted by your subconscious mind and your subconscious mind guides your lose belly fat actions on “automatic.” This is the basis for the whole positive thinking movement. People who say that positive thinking, affirmations and autosuggestions don’t work for them aren’t using them properly or consistently; they’re canceling out every positive command with a negative command. If a captain gave an order, “Go east,” but then kept shifting his mind; “No, go west…no, go north, etc.,” the ship would never get anywhere! That’s why most people don’t get anyplace in their fitness, bodybuilding or weight loss endeavors, either. Ironically, the very statement “positive thinking doesn’t work” is a negative statement that guarantees it won’t work!

Dr. Maxwell Maltz, author of the awesome book, Psycho Cybernetics, described the human brain and nervous system as a “faultless goal-striving servo-mechanism.” This mechanism helps you achieve your goals much like a self-guided torpedo or missile seeks out its goal and steers its way to it. Like the torpedo, the goal-striving mechanism of your brain can simply work in your favor if you’ve specified a target. Without a target, your mental “servo-mechanism” will simply steer you towards your principal thoughts. The subconscious mind is always at work 24 hours a day whether you direct it on purpose or not. Denis Waitley says, “Since we become what we think of most of the time, whatever we are thinking of now, we are unaware moving toward the achievement of that thought.

For an alcoholic, this could be the one more drink – for a drug addict, the next fix – for a surfer, the next wave. Divorce, bankruptcy, and sickness are all goals spawned out of negative attitudes and thought patterns.” Because of the way your subconscious works, it’s extremely important for you to focus every one of your thoughts on what you want to achieve, not on what you want to avoid. This is not mere semantics; it’s a very vital distinction. If I ask you to close your eyes and not to think about monkeys, you’ll (mentally) see monkeys everyplace. You can’t NOT think about something! You either think about something or you don’t. And you always move toward what you think about the most, apart from whether it’s positive or negative.

Like the soil, your subconscious mind is fully impartial – it doesn’t discriminate. In it will grow whatever seeds you plant there or allow to be planted there. Numerous people have perfectly good intentions, but they unwittingly allow their subconscious to work against themselves by focusing on what they don’t desire. And, as metaphysical writer Louise Hay reminds us, “The more you dwell on what you don’t want the more of it you create.” Others simply ignore to their thoughts whatsoever, and like a garden that’s neglected, soon enough, weeds start growing. Eventually, the weeds capture your garden. All day long you carry on a mental conversation with yourself. Psychologists figure out that we think up to 60,000 thoughts a day and that 98% of these thoughts are the same ones we had yesterday – most of them negative.

In a year, that’s nearly 22 million thoughts! If Madison Avenue advertising giants can influence your subconscious mind to make a buying choice by repeating an ad a mere two dozen times (they can), then just imagine the impact that millions of your own thought commands have on controling your subconscious mind – it’s staggering! That’s why it’s so important for you to take conscious control over your lose belly fat mental dialogue and program your brain with positive targets. Fortunately, the one thing in life you always have 100% total control over is your thoughts. If you want to be victorious in losing body fat or any other endeavor in life, you must master your communication with yourself. You must take over of your self-talk, “police” you’re thinking, and literally re-program your brain for success. If you’ve cluttered your brainpower with a lifetime of “Stinkin Thinkin,” as Mr. Ziglar calls it, this may be difficult at first. It will take time to erase the old programming, but it can be done.

Dolphin Delight for Losing Pounds: Water Aerobics

There are many different ways that you can get healthy and stimulate weight loss – doing water aerobics is something you might never have thought of. However, not only can it help you be really healthy and get the most out of your aerobic work out, it can do a lot more, as well. So here are some weight loss tips for you.

When it comes to using water to work out, there are many ways that water aerobics can work for you. You can either do some of these exercises on your own, or you can join a club or a group that will teach you how to do them. Basically, doing water aerobics means that you are going to be providing your body with a chance for actual exercise. The difference is that you’ll be doing them in the water, and against the water, which adds to the work out.

By doing your workout in the water, you are getting more resistance than if you were doing it in the air. Everyone knows that when you try to move through water you have to exert more force in order to make the movements that you want to make. This means that as you do your water aerobics, you are forced to use more of your muscle groups and you are forced to get stronger, while the water cools you comfortably at the same time.

Most of the time, with a little looking around, you can get in a water aerobics class, which will help you figure out how best to do your water aerobics and improve your weight loss. This is a great way to make sure that you know what you are doing, and to make sure that you are actually getting as much out of your exercise as you can. The instructor will guide the class through a series of movements, where you’ll be able to do the same repetitive motions over and over again. weight loss might have something to add here.

Hopefully, you’ll find that this will increase your heart rate and allow you to be able to start to work your body in a great and aerobic way. A Weird Article On How Stupid BMI Is To Calculate Health

Wednesday, February 25th, 2009

A weird article on how bad BMI is to measure health

I’ve found this in Arab forums

For more please check Arabic forums

Tom Cruise: Fat or Hot? If Tom Cruise had been accidentally decapitated in the making of the last movie, he would have become one more victim of our “obesity epidemic.” Sound wicked? Welcome to the politics of fats, where all scales can be tax-deductible, lawyers are lining up to sue anything rumored to contain calories, and the press has fed us a steady diet of hysteria and hyperbole.

The first thing you need to understand is that in our twilight zone of fats hysteria, he is officially obese. That’s based on the Body Mass Index (BMI), a measurement that separates us into government-approved, overweight, and obese categories by taking into consideration only our height and weight. A BMI of 30 or more makes you obese, and at 5-7, 201 pounds, Tom Cruise has a BMI of 31.

According to the BMI standard, 61 percent of America are fats or obese. You have probably heard that number. Along with the claim that obesity costs the United States $117 billion a year and kills 300,000 America annually, it is one of the three most commonly cited figures associated with our so-called obesity epidemic.

But it’s more like an epidemic of bad statistics. All three of these numbers are seriously flawed.

fats Cruise is in good company. Thanks to the absurdities of the BMI yardstick, Sylvester Stallone (5-9, 228 pounds, BMI of 34) and Mel Gibson (5-9, 214 pounds, BMI of 32) are also “obese.” So was Mark McGwire (6-5, 250 pounds, BMI of 30) the year he hit 70 home runs. And if politics is your thing, you’ll be interested to know that the new governor of California (6-2, 257 pounds, BMI of 33) is obese, too.

Here’s how the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention explains these counterintuitive results: “Overweight may or may not be due to increases in body fat. It may also be due to an increase in lean muscle.”

It’s not just full-blown obesity that has been bungled by numerical hocus-pocus. 39 million Americans went to sleep one night in 1998 at a government-approved weight, and woke up “overweight” the next morning, thanks to a change in the government’s definition. That group includes presently “overweight” (BMI greater than or equal to 25) movie stars like Will Smith (6-2, 210 pounds, BMI of 27) and Pierce Brosnan (6-2, 211 pounds, BMI of 27). Michael Jordan (6-6, 216 pounds, BMI of 25) and Cal Ripken Jr. (6-4, 220 pounds, BMI of 27) were also “overweight” at the height of their athletic powers. And so is our ultra-fit President Bush (6-0, 194 pounds, BMI of 26). Moreover, the standard that we abandoned in 1998 had the virtue of distinguishing between men and women–something we now do not even attempt to do.

So what does Tom Cruise’s imaginary swordplay mishap have to do with obesity? Chalk it up to more bad statistics. The regularly recycled factoid that excess weight causes 300,000 deaths a year bizarrely assumes that if you die while overweight, you die because of that excess weight. As insane as it sounds, if Cruise were to kick the bucket for any reason, his death would count toward the mythical 300,000 total.

The respected New England Journal of Medicine knows this is bogus. It maintains that the 300,000 figure “is by no means well established. Not only is it derived from weak or incomplete data, but it is also called into question by the methodologic difficulties of determining which of the many factors contribute to premature death.”

Nevertheless, this statistic finds its way into nearly every discussion of obesity–as does the spurious claim that obesity costs Americans $117 billion per year. The source of this figure: a single study published by the journal Obesity Research in 1998.

This study had serious limitations, as the authors themselves admitted. They acknowledged that their methodology resulted in the “double-counting of costs” which “would inflate the cost estimate.” There’s also this stunning admission: “We are still uncertain about the actual amount of health utilization associated with overweight and obesity. Height and weight are not included in many of the primary data sources.”

But even if they had good data to work with and somehow controlled for the double (and even triple) counting of costs, these researchers still would have reached a unrealistic conclusion. Why? They used the wrong definition of obesity.

A BMI of 30 or more makes you obese, but the authors of this study for some reason decided to set the threshold at “BMI greater than or equal to 29.” Thus they erroneously included the economic cost of individuals with a BMI between 29 and 30. A small error? Not at all. That covers more than ten million Americans, including Bruce Willis (6-0, 211 pounds, BMI of 29), Brendan Fraser (6-3, 234 lbs, BMI of 29), and George Clooney (5-11, 211 pounds, BMI of 29).

$117 billion cost. 300,000 deaths. 61 percent fats or obese. All wrong. Unfortunately, these bad statistics are the shaky ground on which a growing number of activist groups seek to build their nutritional utopias.

Measure Your Fat Loss Movement Using Body Composition Testing

Wednesday, February 25th, 2009

The first step is simply to turn into lose belly fat conscious of what you are thinking. Become aware of your thoughts. Bob Proctor, a master success coach and author of the Goal Achiever program, suggests saying “NEXT” or “SWITCH” the instant you catch yourself in the middle of a negative thought or self-defeating question. Then, at once replace it with a positive thought, affirmation, or an empowering question. Simply overwrite the old thinking with a new one. Replace “I’ll try” with “I’ll do it.” Instead of “I should” say “I must.” Completely banish “I can’t” from your vocabulary. Shortly you’ll find that your mind switches its “polarity” and the negative thoughts pop up less. When I ask people what they want to achieve from their fitness programs, I typically get vague answers like, I want to get leaner, “I want to lose weight,” or “I want to build muscle.” That’s a good set up, but it’s not enough – it’s too general. Specific goals have a more powerful impact on your subconscious than general aims.

A vague objective is like the captain of a ship saying, “Go west.” The ship may be headed in the right general direction, but without a specific objective, it will probably get lost at sea. Narrow it down. Be specific – right down to the digit. Exactly how many pounds do you want to lose? When do you want to establish your goal? How much body fat do you want to lose? How much do you want to weigh? What measurements would you like to have What size clothes do you want to dress in? You must have a way to objectively measure your progress; otherwise you’ll never know whether you’ve in fact reached your goals or not. The mirror is definitely a useful tool, because ultimately the only thing that really matters is that you’re happy with the way you look. Yet, because you perceive changes in your body so subjectively, (and it’s sort of like watching the grass grow), it’s also helpful to have other ways to gauge your results.

The scale is also a handy tool, but it doesn’t give you 100% of the feedback you need. You shouldn’t be as interested in how much you weigh as in how much body fat you have. The perfect lose belly fat method to measure your progress is body composition testing. Body fat can be easily measured using a skinfold test. Chapter three will talk about body composition testing methods in more detail and chapter four will teach you how to chart your progress and construe the results. Too often, people shortchange themselves and make statements like, “I could never look like that” or “I’m too old.” Other people buy into the low determinations of well-meaning family or friends who tell them to “be realistic.” Nothing great was ever achieved by being realistic! Most people get scared when setting targets and ask only for what they think they can get, not what they really WANT. This is a mistake because puny, “realistic” targets are NOT motivating. WANTS are motivating.

It’s okay if your aim scares you a little. In fact, if your goal isn’t scary and exciting at the same time, then your objectives are too low. Thinking about a big goal you’ve never achieved before is always going to make you feel a little uncomfortable and terrified. This discomfort makes most people pull back into their comfort zones. Don’t let the fear of failure or the feeling of discomfort prevent you from going after what you truly want. Always step forward into growth; never pull back into safety. Refuse to sell yourself short. Raise your standards. The prominent architect Daniel Burnham said, “Make no small plans; they have no magic to stir your blood to action. Make big tactics, aim high in work and hope.”

Hoodia Extract– Herbal Remedy For Dropping Weight

Wednesday, February 25th, 2009

Have you heard about Hoodia Extract? It’s marketed as an “amazing” new weight loss ingredient that will help you lose weight without feeling hungry. The many advertisements hyping the product claim that Hoodia contains a “miracle molecule called P57 that tricks the brain into thinking you’ve eaten, and makes you feel full.” The claims do not stop there; in addition to losing weight, the advertisements claim you will feel better while taking this super weight loss ingredient, because Hoodia Liquid has “a feel-good, aphrodisiac quality.” What exactly is Hoodia and does it really work? Let us take a closer look at this “miracle appetite suppressant.”

The taste of the plant is actually very acrid and can be compared to a very dry bitter cucumber. This is why it is sold in North American and European countries in capsule form rather than as a food substance in dried form. The liquid versions of hoodia do have flavorings added to disguise the taste. Don’t shy away from Hoodia Liquid products. Not only do they work faster than pills, they actually taste very good.

Hoodia’s appetite suppressant properties were only discovered about thirty years ago when certain species were included in a scientific research project established by the South African Council.

The council was looking for indigenous plants that could be a source of food. Among the plants screened were Hoodia cactus extract and experiments on animals confirmed the plant’s ability to cause weight loss without side effects.

Shortly after this study it was licensed to the drug company Phytopharm that has spent over $20 million dollars to conduct clinical trials of the plant. The subjects given Hoodia Liquid at a thousand calories less a day then the usual 2,600 calories a day for males and 1,900 calories for women.

The giant pharmaceutical company Pfizer, which had teamed up with Phytopharm, and funded much of the research abandoned the venture when making a pill out of the active ingredient seemed to costly to develop. For now it is sold in weight loss formulations, usually accompanied by green tea extract to accelerate the weight loss results even more.

Hoodia Gordonii extract is best taken before meals, with a glass of water. Plenty of water is also required during the day, since the plant also shuts off the brain’s thirst mechanism. People observe that their appetite is suppressed within an hour of taking it and is commonly known to produce weight loss effects in as little as one or two weeks.
